How to Pass Time in Traffic?

If you live in a big city like Istanbul, New York or Moscow I'm sure you’re supposed to get used to traffic. I spend at least two hours of my life in traffic. After realizing that it was stealing a lot of time from my life, I started to think about how I could use my time in traffic in a useful way. So, I decided to improve my English and learn Spanish while I am stuck in traffic.

How do I learn English&Spanish while I am on the bus?

1 - I love listening to music especially when I travel by bus. Time flies as I follow the road. So, that’s why I have a Spotify account and a Spanish playlist. I listen to Spanish pieces of music and read the lyrics. It helps me to be more familiar with the pronunciation. I also have a podcast playlist in which I listen to English podcasts. My favorite is Adept English. I learn new words and new subjects with it. I definitely recommend this podcast channel!

2 - In order to memorize more words I prepare my own flash cards. I write the new words from the song lyric or podcasts on flashcards. I take the flashcards with me and I play them on the bus. It is very fun!

3- The last thing that I do is - If I can find a place to sit- watch videos on YouTube channels! Usually, I take a notebook and a pencil with me. I open the video and my notebook. I listen to the teachers and take notes. I can hear you yelling at me How do you focus on YouTube videos on the bus? Well, I don’t know. This is my personality. I can just focus on whatever I wish!
