Verb Sentence with Pronouns + 6 commonly used verbs in Turkish Language

Hello everyone! Today we are going to learn the structure of verb sentences in the Turkish language. Why? Because the most important thing when you learn a new language is to know how it's structured. And later we are going to learn pronouns with a couple of simple sentences.


Let’s get started.


Verb-sentence structure in the Turkish language is formed as a subject, object, and verb, respectively. While In Arabic/English Language its form is like that, ‘’I went to school''

''. In the Turkish language, its form is like that ''Ben okula gittim''. Here ben is the subject and we put it at the top of the sentence, okula is an object and we put it at the middle of the sentence, gittim is a verb and we put it the end of the sentence.


Now, let’s go for pronouns;


Ben — I


Sen — You


O — He/She


Biz — We


Siz — You (pl.)


Onlar — They


Okay now let’s repeat them to hear pronunciation.

Now, let’s learn six important daily verbs in Turkish language.


first: gelmek means — to come

second: gitmek means — to go

third: açmak means — to open

forth: kapatmak means — to close

fifth: yemek means — to eat

and sixth: içmek means — to drink
